I have had this question asked a few times. I am not sure what happened to the forum all I know is what I have overheard. I heard that the individual that hosted the site and the forum on a private server has left the state and has been working on some other sites that he was hosting and plans to fix The California Wrestler as he gets time in his hectic schedule.
The reason I started this was not to compete with The California Wrestler, as I have used it for quite a few years and have greatly appreciated it. I hope it returns. I merely am tired of it being down since June as I personally use it to let everyone know what tournaments my high school is hosting, and look for other tournaments to plan out my schedule. So instead of talking about and wishing it would come back alive, I created one that I know will not go down as it is hosted by Wix.
If anyone wants to help contribute to this site I am very happy to give you a place and let you do your thing. It is very easy to use. I plan to ask some of our college wrestlers to be moderators / content creators in turn for a resume booster / internship.
Anyways I hope you all enjoy everything that this site provides and it will remain free to use while I am in charge of it.
Thanks,
Joe List (Site Administrator)
It's disappointing to hear that The California Wrestler is down for so long. I've been using the site for years as a valuable resource for tournament information and scheduling. I completely understand the frustration behind creating this new site. It's a great initiative and I appreciate your willingness to share the platform with others. I hope this new https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/best-essay-writing-services-reviews-legit-websites-gloria-kopp-mbrbf site can fill the void left by The California Wrestler, at least temporarily. I'll definitely be checking it out and contributing where I can.
Thank you for doing this!
