This is an event that you can bring ALL of your girls to, this tournament has Varsity & JV Divisions; this ensures that they all will get the appropriate level of competition (all under one roof). No more trying to figure out which wrestles get an opportunity this weekend, how to split coaches, no more multiple buses, etc... Lady Big Kat is your one stop shop to start the season. We run on 8 mats, have a great snackbar and pride ourselves on being organized and well run.
For those who haven't come before, a little background (and for those who have the numbers from 2021)...
In 2021/22 we had 434 girls, full brackets at both Varsity and JV, we started at 9:30 and everyone was done and out at 3:48, so you will get home at a reasonable time!
In the Varsity Division; we had 84 SS Masters Qualifiers, 28 SS State qualifiers, 14 SD State qualifiers (yes you get to see the best in San Diego before state, incl four SD Masters Champs) 13 State Medalists (including 2 state champs!!!). This will be the 8th edition of the event and past attendees include a litany of the best SS and SD section teams. Come experience it for yourselves.
This tournament has historically sold out by late September/ early October, so it is important to get us your contract back as soon as possible to secure your spot (you can send your check in later). We were sold out before September 25th, 2021 and ended up turning away 20+ teams. Don't get left out.

Coaches, we are over 200 girls, in each division, already for this event. We typically cap around 260 in each division (and end up around 220 per come tournament time). We only have a handful of spaces left for teams interested in coming. Once we hit the 260 number we will start a wait list. So, if you are coming let me know ASAP. Just added our 13, 14 & 15th schools for Nov. 2022. Excited, there are some really good teams and wrestlers committed for this event already. It's gonna be FUN!
