4th Annual Girl’s JV Showdown

Western High School will be hosting the 4th annual Girl’s JV Showdown Saturday November 20, 2021. The tournament is for JV wrestlers only, no varsity wrestlers. (No wrestlers that previously qualified for CIF, or placed top 4 in a Varsity tournament)
Event: Girl’s JV Showdown
Date: Saturday November 20, 2021
Time: Weigh-ins 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Wrestling begins at 10:00 a.m.
Weights: Scratch weight plus 2lb. allowance (103,
108, 114, etc.)
Brackets: 16 wrestler brackets. Double elimination.
Brackets will be done by random draw, no seeding. (We will separate girls on the same team by half brackets.)
Small brackets will be round robin
Cost: $250 per team (up to 14 wrestlers) or $25 per individual wrestler
Awards: Team- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
Individual- 1st, 2nd, & two 3rds
Snack Bar: Full snack will be available.
